National Championships

National Championship events that are owned and produced by USAT include the National Age Group Championship, Youth Nationals, Collegiate Nationals and Short Course Duathlon Nationals. The National Championship events are USAT’s premier events of the year in which we strive to offer the best possible event for all athletes. USAT also supports the Sprint, Long Course Triathlon, Long Course Duathlon and Club national championships through existing premier events.

With the exception of the USA Age Group National Championship, any athlete can compete in the national championships. The Age Group National Championship, which is owned by USA Triathlon, is the premier event of the year. All athletes who wish to compete must qualify at a designated USAT sanctioned event.
