USA TRIATHLON RACE DIRECTOR COMMISSION
The RDC functions as an advisory board to the USA Triathlon National Board of Directors. There are up to 11 participants on the commission, appointed by the Board and led by a Chairperson. Conference call meetings are held monthly during the off season and with less frequency during the heart of the racing season.

U.S. MULTI-SPORT DIRECTORY
The U.S. Multi-Sport Directory (USMD), the nations largest Event Directory, is celebrating its 5th edition in 2008.  This publication is a comprehensive digest for triathlons, duathlons, running events, adventure races, cycling events and more. In addition to over 2600 individual event listings, we also offer listings for coaches, camps, clinics, clubs and much more.  Take advantage of the U.S. Multi-Sport classified event listings. List your event information easily and proof the information right online! The online process will show you what your ad will look like in the Directory, a new and slick way of entering and updating your information. You can also choose the icons (USAT, Kids, etc.) which will apply to your event listing.

RACE COURSE MAPPING TOOL
One Million Revolutions, producer of the Musselman Triathlon, has partnered with USAT to provide a race course mapping tool specifically for race directors. The online tool combines Google Maps with an easy-to-use system for creating, editing, and displaying each segment of your race (swim, bike, etc) on a dynamic, interactive map. Once a course is plotted, elements can be added to produce for your athletes a complete "digital tour" of your event. The maps can be seamlessly integrated into any website, and can be used to satisfy the USAT sanction requirement for course maps.

ANNOUNCING THE AVAILABILTY OF TRAVEL PORTALS FOR YOUR RACE PARTICIPANTS
Race directors can now offer their race participants the ability to make travel arrangements to their events by using a personalized travel portal powered by Travelocity and provided via USA Triathlon.  All you have to do is put the link to Travelocity on your event website.  This will benefit not only the athletes but your organization as well as you will collect 20% of the booking commissions during the year.  Athletes can also utilize the link for any other travel needs.  Please contact Don Corn, USAT Travelocity Site Manager at 888-781-7850 or at Doncorn@donationsink.com with any questions.
