Race Conduct: Abandoned Equipment
This week's rule is 3.4h — Abandoned equipment.
This rule is quite simple: don't leave any litter or gear on the course. Littering the course with cups, bottles, gel packs, pumps, tires, etc., threatens the ability of race organizers to get permits to produce events. While it is permitted to drop trash at aid station, participants should refrain from leaving trash anywhere else. Besides, it's against the law!
Here's the rule:

No participant shall leave any equipment or personal gear on the race course. Any violation of this section shall result in a variable time penalty.
