Transition Area Conduct: Bicycle Placement
This week’s rule is Article 7.3 — Bicycle Placement.
The rule requires that participants returning from the bike portion of the event place their bicycles in an upright position in the same location where they were racked at the beginning of the race.
Here’s the rule:
7.3 Bicycle Placement.
All participants must return their bicycles to an upright position in the properly designated bicycle corral after completion of the cycling course and before beginning the next segment of the event. Any violation of this section shall result in a variable time penalty.
