Women's Triathlon NCAA Emerging Sport Grant

In December of 2014, USA Triathlon announced it will commit $2.6 million through a multi-year Women's Triathlon Emerging Sport Grant to help the establishment of NCAA women's varsity triathlon programs. The three-year grant provides funding for Division I, II and III institutions to help implement and grow women's triathlon programs at the NCAA level.

In January 2014, the NCAA overwhelmingly approved triathlon as the next Emerging Sport for Women for Division I, Division II and Division III.
