Describe Your Role with USA Triathlon: As a National Board member I am liaison to the National Coaching Committee, the Regional Chairs Committee and the Women’s Committee, and a member of the Championship Events Task Force.
What drove you to the multisport lifestyle? While stationed in southern California in the very early stages of the triathlon beginnings; I remember the mass Wednesday night group rides. Upon discharge from the USMC and returning to the Midwest, I missed the lifestyle and wanted very much to remain in top physical and mental health and fitness.
Personal: I tend to keep things simple – stay single, raise chocolate Labradors and train for Ironman’s. All other energy is spent on landscaping/yard work.

Athletic Background: High school football, wrestling and track; road with three different cycling teams; completed four years as a duathlete.
