Mission Statement

The USA Triathlon Women’s Committee is focused on creating a resource for female athletes of all levels and socioeconomic backgrounds by mentoring professional growth for women in the sport of triathlon. The Women’s Committee is concentrating on the quality of training as well as opportunities available for women in positions of authority and decision-‐‐making within associations that govern the sport. The WC is a national committee of women from all over the U.S. with a variety of professions and diverse levels of participation in triathlon.

The USA Triathlon Women's Committee is focused on creating a resource for female athletes of all levels and socio-economic backgrounds by mentoring professional growth for women in the sport of triathlon. The Women's Committee is concentrating on the quality of training as well as opportunities available for women in positions of authority and decision-making within associations that govern the sport.

The Women's Committee will be distributing THREE (3) matching, reimbursable $2,000 grants to support programs that are directly involved with women in the sport of triathlon.

Deadline Extended: Women's Committee Now Offering Grants
The USA Triathlon Women's Committee provided an opportunity to USA Triathlon certified clubs to apply for three matching, reimbursable $1,500 grants. Deadline for submittal was May 2, 2011, and recipients were notified by May 9.
