donate today

One hundred percent of all gifts will go to the USA Triathlon Foundation to encourage youth, inspire paratriathletes and enable Olympic hopefuls.

Every dollar makes a difference:
  • $20 buys basic gear for a newbie paratriathlete — a kickboard, swim goggles, bike bottle and holder
  • $50 provides a helmet (and safety) or tri shorts for a child
  • $80 ensures an underprivileged child can afford running shoes
  • $300 covers one month of coaching fees for an up-and-coming pipeline athlete
  • $500 allows a wounded veteran to attend a paratriathlon training camp
  • $1,200 covers pool and gym fees for a year or airline bike fees for 12 races
  • $5,000 could help a below-the-knee amputee get his or her first running prosthetic leg
  • $15,000 covers the cost of a handcycle for a new paratriathlete

Your gift can help athletes get started in the sport, instill a lifetime of fitness, reach their true potential and even achieve Olympic greatness. You can make dreams come true!

Making a Difference One Donation at a Time

developmentWhether the sport of triathlon is ingrained in your lifestyle and has provided you with years of fitness, competition and camaraderie or you are new to the sport, YOU can make a difference! With your support, the USA Triathlon Foundation can ensure the next generation — young aspiring triathletes, paratriathletes and Olympic hopefuls — enjoy similar opportunities and experiences within the fastest-growing sport in the U.S. Olympic Movement.

Your donation supports the USA Triathlon Foundation’s belief that every child should have the chance to participate, every paratriathlete should have the chance to compete, and every elite athlete should chase his or her Olympic dream.

As a supporter of the USA Triathlon Foundation, you can feel an extra sense of pride knowing you play a vital role in sending America’s best athletes to the Olympic Games, providing paratriathletes with the right training and racing gear and introducing triathlon to aspiring youth athletes through multisport camps and clinics … To reach these goals, the USA Triathlon Foundation needs your support. Please consider making a gift today.

Youth: Encourage

youthThe USA Triathlon Foundation believes every aspiring young athlete should have the opportunity to participate in our life-changing sport. Many children swim, bike and run on a daily basis. Putting each discipline together provides a fun fitness outlet that can jumpstart a healthy lifestyle for years to come. With your support, the USA Triathlon Foundation programming will help solidify the future of our sport — by providing equipment and by funding camps, clinics, race fees and travel for aspiring athletes. Our goal is to introduce kids to a lifetime of health and fitness. Supporting kids at the grassroots level can build self-esteem, belonging and help fight the rising childhood obesity epidemic, building A Healthier America Through Triathlon.

Paratriathlon: Inspire

paratriathlonWith paratriathlon making its Paralympic Games debut in 2016, interest in this inspirational sport is at an all-time high. The USA Triathlon Foundation is a committed supporter of disabled athletes and this commitment has never been stronger with the recent focus on paratriathlon-specific programming. Our sport provides needed competitive and fitness outlets for hundreds of amazing athletes. However, the expense of adaptive equipment and travel to events, camps, and clinics can be a hurdle for many. Your support can make paratriathlon participation possible for some of the nation’s most remarkable athletes and can help the USA Triathlon Foundation change the lives of disabled athletes by introducing them to the sport through a number of outreach programs.

Olympic Hopefuls: Dream

gwenElite triathlete Gwen Jorgensen realized her Olympic dream in 2011 when she crossed the finish line at the ITU World Triathlon London to lock up a spot on the U.S. Olympic Triathlon Team. Gwen started competing in triathlon in 2010 after being recruited by Olympian Barb Lindquist for USA Triathlon's Collegiate Recruitment Program, part of the elite development pipeline within the organization. With USA Triathlon’s support, Gwen put her career as a CPA at Ernst & Young on hold and was able to focus on training and racing as she developed into one of the world’s best. Alongside the USA Triathlon Foundation, you can support the dream of the next wave of Olympic hopefuls by providing funding for equipment, training camps, international travel and more.
