First day at USA Triathlon: February 22, 2010 (on the 30th anniversary of the Miracle On Ice)
Roles and responsibilities: As a member of USA Triathlon’s senior management team, I am responsible for all strategic marketing efforts, including corporate sponsorship, licensing and advertising. I also direct branding, event marketing and membership acquisition and retention, while supervising a department of 10 staff. An organizational spokesperson, I oversee public relations, usatriathlon.org, USA Triathlon Magazine, social media, creative services and national television agreements.
Favorite part about USAT: Making a positive impact in people’s lives through sport.
What keeps you busy in your free time: Training to become a full-fledged triathlete (finished my first sprint last summer). And my dog.
Favorite career moment: 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City.
