About the MCTC

The Mountain Collegiate Triathlon Conference (MCTC), is an association of the colleges and universities within the USA Triathlon’s Rocky Mountain Region of the United States, which is comprised of the states of Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, and Wyoming. The MCTC is recognized as the governing body for the sport of collegiate triathlon for all schools within these states.

The MCTC intends to develop the sport of triathlon within the collegiate ranks through encouraging awareness, development and growth of triathlon as a step towards both elite athlete development and life-long health.

We are a sub part of the USAT Rocky Mountain Region.

Mission Statement

To administer, grow, develop and spread the sport of triathlon throughout the Rocky Mountain region and the entire United States.  The Mountain Conference shall annually determine individual and team champions for the Mountain Conference as well as host an annual conference camp.  The teams of the Mountain Conference shall distinguish themselves as leaders both within the sport and beyond.
