USA Triathlon’s Youth and Junior Coaching Certification Program is designed to educate current USAT certified coaches on how to train youth and junior athletes safely and effectively throughout their developmental stages.  This clinic provides coaches with specialized youth and junior coaching skills and drills, age appropriate training regimes and testing protocols, physiological and nutritional considerations, and basic training techniques to develop successful youth and junior athletes.

 July 31 - August 1  West Chester, OH Registration is currently open and can be found here. Registration will be available until the 20 attendee maximum is met. You must be a current USAT Level I, II, or III Certified Coach to attend this clinic. Please do not apply if you are not currently certified with USAT as your registration will be canceled and fees may be applied.

November 8-9

Raleigh, NC

Applications are accepted from July 16, 2013 until the clinic is full. Accepted applicants will be notified of acceptance or denial within seven business days of submitting their application.


The cost of the clinic is $399. Applicants must hold a current USAT Level I, II or III coaching certification in order to apply.

Successful completion of the Youth & Junior certification program will automatically renew USAT Level I, II, or III certifications (exceptions may apply).

USAT coaches will earn 10 USAT CEUs upon completion of all requirements for the Youth and Junior certification that can be used toward their next Level I, II or III recertification. Youth & Junior Coaching Recertification Requirements

Cancellation Policy:
Cancellation on registration day to 8 weeks prior to the first day of the clinic: $25 Penalty
Cancellation on or after 8 weeks prior to the first day of the clinic: $50 Penalty
Cancellation on or after 6 weeks prior to the first day of the clinic: $150 Penalty
Cancellation on or after 4 weeks prior to the first day of the clinic: NO REFUNDS AND NO EXCEPTIONS
