Before explaining the entire course to you, I would like to tell you that in the week before the race the entire course (except swim course) will be marked in order that you can familiarize yourself with the bike and run course.

Swim: The swim course direction will be decided based upon the tide and the wind direction, so it is not known right now. This does not matter that much, because the start area will be made very clear and can be easily seen from the Transition Area. The course will be very similar to the 2012 course.

In 2012 the swim started on the beach. The swim course was marked with buoys which had to be rounded on the sea side. After about 800m the course led back to the beach. Here you had to run a small stretch south where you entered the water again for the second, smaller lap.

The run course consists of three identical laps. The direction for the run course is counter clockwise. This means you will go into the dunes first

The direction for the bike course is clockwise. This means you keep the left side on the beach. The bike course consists of three identical laps.
