The Elephant Man Triathlon, the first MCTC event, will take place Sunday, Sept. 27 in Socorro, N.M.  The race will be in conjuction with the Rocky Moutain Region's membership dinner at the Elephant Butte Inn.  

Teams attending thus far include the US Air Force Academy, University of Arizona, Arizona State University, New Mexico State University, Northern Arizona University and the University of New Mexico.

The MCTC schools will be conducting a meeting in the official race hotel - The Elephant Butte Inn - on Saturday at 5:00pm.  MCTC members will discuss issues within the conference and also have the opportunity to provide feedback to USA Triathlon for the 2010 Collegiate Nathional Championships.
