races for older folks

I have been trying to get organizers to understand the age groupers and what we are experiencing with our bodies.

obviously the top athletes have little wrong with their bodies.

the rest of us suffer to some degree.

what i have suggested is more aquabikes, but their response has been,   well just do a relay.   i dont want to do a relay, i want to competer with my fellow agers

i have suggested that they have triathlons but instead of running that we be allowed to walk,   so for instance a triathlon now is swim, bike and run(yes u can walk)   why not have a group for this instead    swim, bike, walk only?????????   i love the sport but am limited cause of my knee for running events and there are not enough events where i can do   swim, bike or swim bike walk.

i know we dont really count cause what they focus on are the pros and kids now days.  but we are a huge group of athletes
