USAT Skills Camp - Southeast Junior Team

This weekend mini-camp takes place at the Baylor School and serves as a seasonal kick-off event for the Southeast Junior Team.  Parents typically attend with athletes and participate in team meetings.

This camp takes place in rural town of Groveland about 15 minutes away from Florida's triathlon destination of Clermont, site of the National Training Center and Clermont Draft-Legal Challenge Triathlon, and is only 30 minutes from Orlando. Located on the beautiful Monterey Peninsula, campers will be treated to bike rides on the famous and hilly roads along the Monterey Coastline and finish the week with a technically challenging mini triathlon around campus.  CSU Monterey Bay has plenty of open space for transition practice, running skill analysis, group riding tactics and an outdoor pool.

Hosted in the Texas Hill Country, this camp will definitely offer southern hospitality refined for the serious triathlete. Schreiner University is a small campus located about an hour from San Antonio and features a great location for safe training. Quiet country roads and open fields are perfect for cycling skills.  No travel required while on campus. Dorms, food, gym, pool, classroom, and all other event needs are within a 4 minute walk.  Open water training is approximately 2 miles at the Guadalupe State Park.

Located an hour from San Antonio, Schreiner University is a very safe, all-inclusive campus for the young athlete.  Dorms, food, gym, classroom, and all other training sites are within a 4 minute walk.  Open water training is approximately 2 miles away at the Guadalupe State Park.  Security and safety of event participants are the highest priority while individualized instruction is our goal.  Beginners and experienced youth athletes will all learn from this experience.

This camp takes place at Wheaton College, located 40 minutes southwest of Boston.  The campus is surrounded by great roads for cycling and running.  Swim training will take place at the campus sports complex, a short walk from the residence and dining halls.

With a new site for 2012 and celebrating our 9th year, athletes will be treated to new and exciting opportunities. Triathletes will have the unique opportunity to compete against locals at Nite Moves (a long standing aquathlon series), swim in the Pacific Ocean daily off Campus Point at UC Santa Barbara, receive an individual running stride analysis from P3 Elite Rehab, and get plenty of saddle time around the Goleta area.

McDaniel College is a private college located in a small, historic town just 30 miles Northwest of Baltimore's Inner Harbor and 60 miles North of Washington, D.C. Campers will enjoy traditional dormitory housing adjacent to the pool and dining hall and a short walk to the track. Sports fields and reserved parking lots will provide areas for transition, bike handling, and running drills, and the surrounding area will allow campers to safely practice individual and group riding techniques.
