Athletes will need to create an account to register for the event. Even if you are a USAT annual member you will need to create an account on your first login.

Registration closes March 31at 11:59 p.m. EST.       ONLY USE INTERNET EXPLORER TO REGISTER.

Important Registration Information

  • There are NO refunds or transfers of entries
  • Athletes MUST be annual USAT members to race
  • Race registration closes March 31, 2010.
  • There will be no on-site or day of registration.

Costs
Collegiate Nationals: $70 (plus processing fee)
    Capped at 1,200 participants

Each team will be required to:

1. Be registered with your conference
You must first be registered with your local conference. If you do not have a local conference or know the contact information for your conference director, email your regional collegiate commission. Find your Regional Collegiate Commission

2. Be registered as an official USAT Collegiate Club
To register your club with USAT, click here. The USAT Club dues for collegiate clubs have changed to a flat $50 rate for all clubs. USAT is moving to a completely online system which will be up on or before January 5th. Clubs will be able to register as a club and for the event on the same day. Click Here for more details.

3.  Register
If your team captain has completed the first two steps they will be able to register and purchase slots for nationals. If an error occurs when registering your team has not completed both steps and you will need to email nationalevents@usatraithlon.org for any questions. Please do not email before you try to register because the system is set up to automatically verify step one and two.

Once verified for registration, teams will be allowed to purchase a maximum of 7 male and 7 female slots once registration opens. These slots can be purchased up until registration closes provided that the race has not sold out. Scoring Rules.

4. Eligibility
Submit Eligibility to USA Triathlon. Team captains must submit ONE page with all team members names signed off by the university registrars' office that all students full-time within the 2009-2010 academic year by April 1, 2010. Fax to 719-597-2121 or email to nationalevents@usatriathlon.org

Eligibility Requirements for Collegiate Nationals

  • All athletes must be full-time students within the 2009-2010 academic year (undergrad or graduate) with the institution they are plan to race with at Collegiate Nationals
  • A student-athlete who was enrolled full-time during the fall semester or winter quarter of the academic year AND completed his/her degree requirements for a degree during that fall or winter is eligible to compete in the national championship held the same academic year
  • A maximum age of 28 on race day.
  • All athletes must be USAT annual members.
