USAT Collegiate Sprint Tri

The USAT Collegiate Sprint Tri will be held in conjunction with the 2010 Collegiate National Championship on April 17th in Lubbock, Texas at Buffalo Springs Lake.

Registration Instructions

Important Registration Information

  • There are NO refunds or transfers of entries.
  • Athletes will not be able to purchase advance slots and put athlete names in at a later date. Athletes must register when they pay and cannot change any athlete information.
  • Race registration closes March 31, 2010.
  • There will be no on-site or day of registration.
  • All athletes will be need to be annual memberships for the race

Sprint Race: $70 (plus processing fee)

The race will be capped at 300 participants.
There will an open, collegiate and alumni division with no eligibility requirements for any of the divisions. USAT will give awards for the top three males and females in each of the three divisions.

Swim Safety  

  • Water temperature is expected to be in the mid 60's in April. The exact temperature will be posted closer to race date.
  • USAT anticipates a wetsuit legal swim.   
  • Swim socks or neoprene booties are legal for the Collegiate Sprint and Nationals race
  • Athletes may want to wear ear plugs and two swim caps for the swim depending on the temperature (USAT will provide athletes with ONE swim cap that must be visibly worn during the swim) 

Awards

  • Overall male and female
  • Top 5 male and female college athletes (no breakdown between grad and undergrad)
  • Top 3 male and female per age group for open (age group) division athletes. (Alumni athletes are considered age group athletes)
