The 2010 USAT Winter Triathlon National Championship will take place at Salt Lake City, UT on January 16, 2010 at the Battle at Soldier Hallow.

There are no qualification standards for the 2010 Winter Triathlon.

QUALIFYING FOR 2010 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS
The top three male and female American finishers in the 2010 BASH Full Distance Triathlon, will qualify for the Elite World Championship, in February 2010. Qualified athletes will receive a travel stipend (TBD), uniforms and paid entry fee. Athletes do not have to be a USAT Elite Member but must have a current USAT Membership - Elite or Amateur. One-day licenses are also available. There is a $3,000 prize purse for Elite athletes in the BASH Full Distance Triathlon.

The top three Age Group athletes also qualify but are fully responsible for their own costs if they choose to attend the World Championship
