Webinar: Barefoot Running For Triathletes
Topic: Barefoot Running For Triathletes
Barefoot Running has been a sizzling topic ever since the publication of Chris MacDougal’s excellent book, Born to Run. Although this has been around for a millennia some parts of the hype have led to irresponsible journalism leading to unnecessary injuries and regrets. There is great benefits to be gained from careful consideration and application of BFR in the Triathlete’s training regime. Bobby McGee has written and lectured extensively on this subject and having grown up in Africa amongst many lifetime barefoot runners, he is well positioned to provide insight and advice on how to use BFR in your training.
Bobby McGeeBobby McGee is a USAT Level I coach as well as a USATF Level III Coach. He has worked as an Olympic coach for over 25 years as a running expert as well as an expert in sports psychology and mental skills. During his coaching career he produced world record holders, an Olympic champion and numerous Olympic runners. He now works with triathletes and has recently been hired full time by USA Triathlon.
