USAT Events

A few details regarding the on-road course:

• The road course is all rolling, mild terrain with very little that's actually flat
• There are no steep hills - stronger cyclists can stay in the big chain ring on all the climbs
• The longest climb is maybe 45-60 seconds long
• The loop the course is on is a favorite of local cyclists and will be beautiful in April
• There will be two 90 degree turns - only one that athletes will need to slow down for on each lap
• There are three 180 degree turns total
• The road surface is smooth and fast

Run Course 5k

Start at Transition, heading NE up E Innovation Park Dr. approximately .7 km to E Rancho Vistoso Blvd. Turn right, heading SE, on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd approximately .51km to turn-around. Turn around and continue NW back to E Innovation Park Dr. approximately .51km. Turn left, heading SW on E Innovation Park Drive approximately 1.37km to Innovation Corporate Center on left. Just after passing Innovation Corporate Center, turn left on the road heading SE for approximately .58km. The road will loop around heading W back towards Innovation Park Drive. Right before reaching Innovation Park Drive, turn around heading E and then looping back NW towards Innovation Park Drive for approximately .58km. Turn right on Innovation Park Drive heading N/NE for approximately .75km to transition/finish.

Bike Course 35k - rolling hills

First lap

Start at Transition, heading NE up E Innovation Park Dr. approximately .71km to E Rancho Vistoso Blvd. Turn left, heading NW, on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd approximately 2.8km. Slight left to continue on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, heading W/SW approximately 3.1km to N Ranch Vistoso Blvd. Slight Left, to continue on N Ranch Vistoso Blvd, heading SE to W Moore Rd approximately 1.2km. Turn right, heading SW, on W Moore Rd approximately 1km to turn around. Turn around, heading NE, on W Moore Rd approximately 1km to N Rancho Vistoso Blvd. Turn left, heading NW, on N Rancho Vistoso Blvd to E Rancho Vistoso Blvd approximately 1.2km. Turn right, to continue on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, heading W/NW approximately 3.1km. Right, to continue on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, heading SE approximately 2.8km to E Innovation Park Dr. Turn Right, heading SW on E. Innovation Park Dr. approximately .6km to turn around point.

Second Lap

Turn around and continue NE on E. Innovation Park Dr. approximately .6km to E Rancho Vistoso Blvd. Turn left, heading NW, on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd approximately 2.8km. Slight left to continue on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, heading W/SW approximately 3.1km to N Ranch Vistoso Blvd. Slight Left, to continue on N Ranch Vistoso Blvd, heading SE to W Moore Rd approximately 1.2km. Turn right, heading SW, on W Moore Rd approximately 1km to turn around. Turn around, heading NE, on W Moore Rd approximately 1km to N Rancho Vistoso Blvd. Turn left, heading NW, on N Rancho Vistoso Blvd to E Rancho Vistoso Blvd approximately 1.2km. Turn right, to continue on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, heading W/NW approximately 3.1km. Right, to continue on E Rancho Vistoso Blvd, heading SE approximately 2.8km to E Innovation Park Dr. Turn right on E.
