Field based testing is critical to performance improvements and for gauging where we are and where we are going. This webinar will look at why field based testing is so important to performance and how to go about incorporating it into our programs to ensure we are training correctly both from a physiological and biomechanical perspective. The webinar will also look at how we use field based testing to compare where we are at relative to our competitors.
This webinar presentation will cover the following:
1) Differing types of field based testing used by elite coaches and why 2) When, where, why and what types of training to incorporate into your programs to get the best results. 3) Understanding your results and setting training based on these results to ensure the best possible training zone accuracy. 4) Designing your own test based on the needs of your athletes, your equipment, personal skill set. 5) Understanding how to set up repeat testing to monitor progress and predict future improvements.
Justin TrolleJustin Trolle is a Level III USAT Coach. Over the past 10 years he has coached International elite athletes in New Zealand as well as elite athletes in the USA including Mark Fretta and Sarah Groff. In addition to his personal coaching programs Justin was the recipient of a 2005 prime ministers scholarship to studying coaching education and systems throughout the world and currently designs and delivers elite coaching mentorship programs through Vanguard Triathlon in Colorado Springs.
