Webinar: Timed Dose Intervals To Increase Speed: Turning The Tortoise Into The Hare
Topic: Timed Dose Intervals To Increase Speed: Turning The Tortoise Into The Hare
This webinar will introduce participants to the benefits of utilizing Time Dose Intervals (TDIs) to improve bike and run performance. TDIs are a prescribed dose of intensity within a given workout (WO) that is designed to increase speed over distance. Unlike other modes of speed training, TDIs are based on duration rather than distance and can be utilized in various training situations. The presentation will cover the benefits of utilizing TDIs for beginner through advanced triathletes, how to determine speed and duration prescription for TDIs, and implementation of TDIs into weekly training. Participants will also be provided real samples of TDIs and learn how to develop and prescribe TDIs for their athletes.
