Webinar: Special Concerns for Female Triathletes
Topic: Specific Concerns for Female Triathlete
Presenter: Abby Ruby
In "Special Concerns for Female Triathletes" Abby Ruby will address the Female Athlete Triad, a syndrome that affects up to 50 percent of athletic women. The symptoms of this illness not only affect an athlete's ability to race well in-season, they also have lasting consequences for an athlete's overall health and well-being. It is imperative that coaches are familiar with the signs and symptoms associated with this illness so they can help an athlete on her road to recovery.
