Kids Fun Run
A new addition to the Duathlon National Championship weekend is a USAT Kids Fun Run the night before the event, April 27. This is a non-competitive fun run where everyone goes away a winner. The 800 meter fun run will start at the Duathlon National Championship start line on E. Innovation Park Dr. and finish with all participants running down the Duathlon National Championship finish line chute. The event is FREE and open to all children ages 7-15 years old. The first 100 participants to register will receive a finishers medal and a participant t-shirt. This is a great way to help kids to stay physically fit and active. Registration is now open! A parent or guardian must be present at the event to sign a waiver for the child to race.

We encourage all Kids Fun Run participants to come back Saturday to see some of the best age group duathletes in the country. These athletes are competing for a chance to qualify for Team USA. The athletes that qualify will compete in Nancy, France at the World Championships in September.
USA Triathlon would like to thank all of our sponsors for their generous support in the 1st Duathlon Kids Fun Run.
The post race finishers medal is supplied by PSG. Each athlete will receive a medal for their participation in the Duathlon Kids Fun Run.
Post Race Food
After the race there will be a post race meal provided by Beyond Bread to the first 100 competitors to register. The post race meal will consist of a half sandwich (their Plain Jane), a bag of chips, banana, and carrots. Beyond Bread's post race meal helps with USAT's goal of demonstrating to our future athletes what a balanced meal and lifestyle can consist of.
The finishers t-shirt will be provided by Brand Makers. All participants will receive a t-shirt for their participation in the Duathlon Kids Fun Run.
