In year one the Cal Tri Network gained participation from most major multisport clubs in the state as well as USA Triathlon. Most recently, California Triathlon hosted the 2nd annual Club Summit on May 4, 2012 at Wildflower with over 35 clubs represented from around the state. Particular focus centered on: Club Administration, Volunteers, USA Triathlon, Acquisition & Retention, Club Insurance, Club Events, Club Marketing, Collegiate Programming, Youth Programming as well as Green Initiatives
Thom is a managing partner of a consulting group that provides strategic direction to a client list of media & technology companies. He is married to a very understanding wife, Sally, who is Dean of Admissions at Occidental College, and they have a 7 year old girl, Karena, who thinks gymnastics is way cooler than triathlon.
