This webinar will allow coaches and self-coached athletes to maximize the winter training season. Attendees will learn concepts and training ideas that will address training in various winter climates, as well as how to use available resources for maximal training effect.
Topics will include: integrating cross-country skiing, snowshoe running and downhill skiing, optimizing indoor training space, group programming, and creative program design. Participants will also learn how to avoid common training mistakes and various myths surrounding winter training. Upon learning to create an optimal plan through creative planning and execution, participants will be positioned for their best season ever.
Tim Crowley
Tim Crowley is currently a USAT Level III certified coach, and has been a trainer, coach and elite triathlete for over 20 years. He is the Founder and owner of TC2- Training and Coaching, has coached many of the top US ITU athletes and was a member of the 2008 Olympic coaching staff.
In addition to his USAT certification, he holds elite coaching licenses with USA Cycling, American Swim Coaches Association and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist. In 2009 he was awarded USAT's Elite Coach of the year, as well as USAT Development Coach of the year in 2007. Tim is currently the head strength and conditioning coach at Montverde Academy in Montverde, Fl.
