Joella Richard Baker, MPP
Joella Baker is the owner of Get Fit Families, LLC, a Level 1 USAT Certified Coach, a Youth and Junior Certified USAT Coach, and an ISSA Certified Personal Trainer. Mrs. Baker has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duquesne University and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from the University of Pittsburgh. With a background in fundraising and empowering volunteers for non-profit efforts, she has transferred that knowledge to her Get Fit Families Triathlon and Running Club. She was diagnosed with Lupus in 2000 and uses multisport as a way to help others diagnosed with autoimmune diseases get their lives back on track. She has competed in triathlons since 1987 and is a current member of the Team USA Long Distance World Championship Team.
