The goal of this presentation is to provide an overview for Race Directors that are unfamiliar with working with Law Enforcement Agencies, and other official groups in relationship to event production.
Fred Phillips is the owner of DLT Events and a partner in Tri Dallas Events, formerly Ironhead Race Productions. He has been actively involved in the multisport lifestyle for close to 29 years. During this time, Fred has served as a USAT regional board member, vice president and president. He has also been a USAT national board member and was the chair of the race director committee from 2005 to 2006. In addition, he has produced over 300 events across multiple platforms such as USAC, USAT, USATF, USARA and RRCA, including multiple USAT National Championships.
Looking forward to 2014, Fred will produce more than 50 events across three states to include the Arkansas Trail Running Series, the Arkansas Mountain Bike Championship Series, the Arkansas MTB Marathon Series, the WindStream Communications Triathlon Series and the Big Dam Bridge 100 Cycling tour Festival.
