The youth segment of triathlon is exploding with more and more kids getting into the sport.  How do we motivate the young triathlete in such a way that they have fun and stay motivated for a lifetime?  In this presentation, USAT Level 2 Coach and 2012 Youth Coach of the Year Michael Harlow will answer this question with an in-depth discussion and practical tips on motivating kids to get fit, stay fit, and reach success in the sport.  In doing so, Coach Harlow will provide an outline for a youth development pathway while providing tips to navigate this challenge successfully both mentally and physically.
