      Chris Carmichael

Bio: Chris Carmichael is the founder and CEO of Carmichael Training Systems, a pioneering company in the endurance coaching industry. Through the past 13 years, CTS has worked with more than 10,000 amateur and professional athletes and grown to employ nearly 50 full-time coaches in four locations nationwide. Chris was a member of the 1984 Olympic Team and the iconic 7-Eleven Pro Cycling Team, and is a bestselling author of more than 10 books on training and nutrition, including “The Time-Crunched Triathlete” and “The Time-Crunched Cyclist”. Coach to the US Olympic Cycling Team in 1992 and 1996, he was named the US Olympic Committee Coach of the Year in 1999, inducted into the US Bicycling Hall of Fame in 2003, and was given a Lifetime Achievement Award from USA Cycling in 2004. Chris was a longtime columnist for Bicycling Magazine, Outside Magazine, Velonews, and Triathlete Magazines; and he is currently writing a training column for Road Bike Action Magazine. David Bertrand

Bio: David Bertrand, M.S.Ed., is a USA Triathlon Level II Certified Coach. David has been teaching, coaching, and mentoring for 10 years, and has led hundreds of athletes to their first triathlon and beyond. Two years ago David took the leap to full-time endurance coaching and mentoring. He created an institute, Tri Daily University, to help new and existing coaches take their businesses to the next level. He is co-founder of the DFW Tri Club, and resides in Dallas with his wife Nikki, and their two daughters, Annie and Tessa.         Holly Moore

Bio: Holly is the Vice President of Growing Leaders, a non-profit organization providing leadership training for the next generation.  The Growing Leaders team serves over 7000 schools, universities, K-12 schools, non-profit organizations, and businesses around the US as well as internationally. She is responsible for all operations and marketing initiatives, including events, resources, and business development.  Under Holly’s leadership, the organization has doubled in size and scope over the past five years.  She worked specifically to create scalable leader development training programs that are turnkey and cost-effective. 

Holly has over 10 years of executive experience with non-profit organizations.  She served on the board of Eagle Ranch Children’s Home and later served as the organization’s Director of Communications.  She was also the Vice President of Advancement for Mercy Ships, non-profit organization providing free medical care in Africa.  During her tenure with Mercy Ships, she spearheaded US development efforts that helped to launch the world’s largest privately funded hospital ship serving developing nations.

Previously, she enjoyed a career in the health care industry founded on her nursing degree from Oral Roberts University.  Holly’s most recent corporate position was as the Vice President of Infusion Therapy and Healthcare Products for a Fortune 200 pharmacy services company.

         
         
 



   

John Talley

Bio: John Talley is one of Oklahoma's most traveled motivational speakers. An avid equestrian, sports junkie, marriage counselor and youth advocate, John serves as the North Central Oklahoma FCA Director, leading over 60 state school districts and Oklahoma State University in his region. Along with his FCA duties, John and his family run a horse ranch with an educational/motivational focus-driven mission.

John has entertained literally thousands of groups, large and small, for the purpose of encouraging character, healthy lifestyles and responsible choices among Oklahoma youth, and each year addresses hundreds of students across Oklahoma. Known as the 'Gallagher' of youth speakers, Talley uses simple props and illustrative stories to inspire and challenge.

John earned a bachelor's at OSU in agricultural education with additional work towards a master's degree in family counseling.

         
         
     

Dr. Jon Spence

Bio: Dr. Jon Spence of Nixa, Missouri, is a 25 year veteran in the field of education and currently the Director of Undergraduate Leadership Studies at Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri. Prior to this, he served as director of the James River Leadership Campus (JRLC) of Evangel University for seven years. From 1998-2007, Spence was an Associate Professor of Education at Evangel University as well as Evangel University football team assistant coach.

Spence’s professional career began in 1988 as a junior high classroom instructor and athletics coach in Springfield Public Schools and Atlanta, Georgia.  He holds a Bachelor of Science in Social Sciences; a Master of Science in Education Administration; and a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis

During his professional career Dr. Spence has served on various boards and committees ranging from the Nixa Education Foundation Advisory Board, James River Assembly of God Board of Trustees, and the Evangel University Athletics Hall of Fame.  He has held association memberships in the International Leadership Association, American Football Coaches Association, and Missouri State Teachers Association.

         
       
     

Penny Hunter

Bio: Penny Hunter is a 25 year veteran of marketing and communications. She was previously the Vice President of Marketing/Communications at International Justice Mission (IJM), has worked in advertising and marketing in the software industry, packaged goods and the restaurant industries and has helped launch capital campaigns and rebranding for many non-profit organizations. She has helped raise tens of millions of dollars for non-profits and has created social media campaigns to grow and mobilize a loyal following for brands.  She spends much of her time now consulting in the non-profit world and helping market feature films, connecting them to a cause that brings about the social good.  Penny is a sought-after mentor, consultant and writer.

 

         
         
 
   

Dr. Tyrone Holmes

Bio: Dr. Tyrone Holmes is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise, a certified Level 2 coach with USA Cycling and the President and Founder of Holmes Fitness Coaching. In addition to being a competitive cyclist, he provides Cycle-Max Coaching for athletes who want to improve their bike performance and Healthy Lifestyle Coaching for individuals who want to lose weight and develop healthier lifestyles. He has presented numerous webinars on cycling and growing a coaching business and is the author of two books on cycling and triathlons, with two more currently in the works.
