Welcome to the 2009 USAT Trade Team Website

USA Triathlon began the USAT Trade Team in 2008 to support elite multisport athletes who are pursuing competitive excellence while promoting the sport of triathlon, USA Triathlon, and USAT’s top corporate partners.

In 2009, USA Triathlon will support up to six male and six female athletes within the USA Triathlon trade team; four Olympic distance, one long course, and one off-road triathlon focused athlete of each gender.

Athletes on the USAT Trade Team race all over the world and represent USA Triathlon and the organization's sponsors in school programs, corporate meetings, and pre-race expos. Athletes are selected for the USAT Trade Team based on their potential for top race results, professionalism and ability to positively represent USA Triathlon and its partners.
