Lifetime Fitness Triathlon

American Matt Reed went neck and neck in a sprint finish with American Andy Potts and Australian Greg Bennett to win the Lifetime Fitness Triathlon on Saturday in Minneapolis. American Sarah Haskins showed she is the top American at this distance by easily beating the women’s field.

ITU World Championship Series

Great Britain’s Alistair Brownlee made it three out of three with victory at the Kitzbühel Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship Series on Saturday in Austria. On Sunday, Australian Emma Moffatt won her third straight race and bolstered her lead at the top of the Dextro Energy Triathlon – ITU World Championship Rankings.

Americans Matt Chrabot and Ethan Brown finished 39th and 41st, respectively. Hayley Peirsol finished 31st in the women's race.

Twenty-12 Elite Race Series

Simon Whitfield (Canada) and Alexis Smith (United States) won titles Saturday at the San Franciso Triathlon at Treasure Island, part of the USA Triathlon Twenty-12 Elite Series.
