MindsetTriathlon Super Short Story Contest
October 19, 2009
MindsetTriathlon is holding a "super short story contest" to answer the long debated question: which is the toughest – the swim, the bike, or the run? The winner will receive three months of massage therapy with the hometown massage therapist of their choosing. Many other contestants will have their work published in an anthology. Click here for more information.
MindsetTriathlon, the only triathlon bookstore online today, invites triathletes to share their short stories about the toughest possible experience they've endured in one of the three sports. Send in your short (350 words or less) true story about your toughest, experience in one of the three sports and MindsetTriathlon will pick one story in each sport and let everyone vote on their favorite. The final results will help to determine which sport is the toughest! Click here to enter.
In addition, MindsetTriathlon editors will be picking many of the stories submitted and publishing them in an anthology titled "Triathlon's Toughest Sport? True stories told by triathletes making their case for the swim, the bike, or the run."
"It will be fun for athletes to sit back and write about their '09 season, but it will also be neat for people to be able to read a collection of stories about tough experiences others have endured in the sport," says Staley Krause, sales and marketing director of MindsetTriathlon.
All stories must be submitted by Friday, November 20. Voting will begin on November 30 and run through December 14.
