South Midwest Regional Board Member Bronda Starling Passes Away
South Midwest Regional Board Member Bronda Starling passed away on July 8 at 8:30 a.m.
She was well known in the multisport community because she was out every weekend at an event as either an athlete, an official, or a volunteer.
Starling was a member of Duathlon Team USA for 2000, 2001, 2004, 2005, and 2006.
She was elected to the South Midwest Regional Board in 2003 and was serving her third term. Starling served as secretary of the regional board and as chair of the rankings committee. She will always be remembered for her unyielding dedication and service to our region and to our sport.
In lieu of flowers, consider making a donation to the Lance Armstrong Foundation in her name.
