You thought things couldn’t get any bigger in Texas? Well they just did.

On Saturday, April 18, Lubbock, Texas will host the Twenty-12 Talent ID Invitational in conjunction with the USAT Collegiate Sprint Tri and Collegiate National Championship.

The next decade of Olympic dreams is built today. If you think you have the skills to swim the springs, climb canyons and draft (legally) through the winds of West Texas, then USA Triathlon wants to see you in Lubbock.

The 2009 Twenty-12 Talent ID Invitational is an open qualification if you are between the ages of 16 and 23; by invitation only if you are between the ages of 24-34. Athletes will receive an invite if their 2008 USAT Ranking is 90 or greater.

The 2009 Twenty-12 Talent ID Invitational will be conducted in a multiple loop, draft-legal format (Olympic-style of racing) with a $4,000 prize purse going five deep.
