USA Triathlon Announces Date Change for 2011 Sprint Nationals

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon has adjusted the date for the 2011 Sprint National Championship to be held in Burlington, Vt. Previously this event had been scheduled for Aug. 21, but will now be held on Aug. 20 alongside the 2011 USA Triathlon Age Group National Championship.

The course is expected to take athletes through Lake Champlain and Battery Park for both the 2011 and 2012 events. Nearly 1,700 athletes completed the events over the course of two days this year in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
