Nominations Now Open for 2012 USA Triathlon Multisport Awards
Awards will honor the best of the multisport lifestyle from 2012
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — In an effort to recognize those individuals who best fueled the multisport lifestyle during the 2012 season, USA Triathlon is pleased to announce that nominations are open for the second annual USA Triathlon Multisport Awards.
All multisport supporters are encouraged to nominate friends, family and fellow competitors for these prestigious national honors. Nominations are being accepted through Dec. 31 in the following six award categories:
• Volunteer of the Year Award
• Jeff Jewell Spirit Award
• Military Sport Award
• Most Inspirational Comeback Award
• Spirit of Multisport Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award

Once the nomination period closes, USA Triathlon’s Age Group Awards Subcommittee will review all nominations and select the winners and honorable mentions for each Multisport Award.
Award winners will be announced in USA Triathlon’s Multisport Zone e-newsletter in February 2013.
