USA Triathlon Looks to Southeast Region to Fill National Board Seat
There are a number of ways USA Triathlon members can become involved in the organization, provide leadership and make a difference in the lives of multisport athletes from around the country. One exciting opportunity available now for members living in the Southeast Region is the chance to serve USA Triathlon as a member of the National Board of Directors.
Any current USA Triathlon annual member in good standing from the Southeast Region may apply to complete the current term on the Board. The position will be filled based on a majority vote of the Board of Directors. The individual appointed would serve on the Board for the remainder of 2013, and will have to run in the 2013 General Election if he or she wanted to serve beyond 2013 when the current seat term ends.
Interested candidates should submit a platform statement of no more than 500 words, a brief résumé, and a passport-type photo to sharon@usatriathlon.org by January 13, 2013.
