Athlete Advisory Council 2012 Call for Nominations
There are two (2) seats up for election on the USAT Athletes’ Advisory Council (AAC) and two (2) Athlete Director seats up for election on the USAT Board of Directors. Athlete Directors automatically serve as members of the AAC. In addition, the USOC AAC Representative position is also up for election.
USA Triathlon AAC and Athlete Director terms are for two (2) years, from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2014. The USOC AAC Representative term is four (4) years.
A candidate may apply to be on the ballot for the Athlete Director position, a USAT AAC position, or both, but will be elected to only one USAT position. In addition, a qualified athlete may also apply and be elected to the USOC AAC.
