COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — As a part of Colorado Springs’ Olympic Day festivities, USA Triathlon will hold a free triathlon clinic for youth ages 7-15 on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Park.

Highlighting the free clinic, which is geared toward athletes of all skill levels, are appearances by rising triathlon star Kevin McDowell and 2000 U.S. Olympic Triathlon Team member Nick Radkewich of the Colorado Springs-based Elite Triathlon Academy. McDowell is a Youth Olympic Games and ITU Junior World Championships medalist, while Radkewich, who enjoyed a decorated career as an athlete, serves as the program manager for the ETA.

McDowell and Radkewich are scheduled to lead a bike demonstration and will sign autographs at the conclusion of the clinic.
