USA Triathlon to Offer High Performance Collegiate Camps

USA Triathlon plans to offer a select number of High Performance Collegiate Camps in the fall of 2012. Applicants should be interested in draft-legal racing and either on the path toward being an elite or a strong age-group athlete. Other requirements include:

  • At least 18 years old by the start of camp
  • Currently registered with a collegiate club team
  • Committed to racing the draft-legal individual and/or team relay event at the 2013 USA Triathlon Collegiate National Championships.
There will be up to five camps based on athlete interest in the following regions: Northeast (Nov. 9-12), Southwest (Oct. 12-14), Florida (Nov. 15-18 or Dec. 6-9), South Midwest (Nov. 16-18) and Rocky Mountain (Oct. 12-14).*

*All dates are tentative and will be confirmed when invitations are offered.

Completed applications should be sent to jocelyn.buras@usatriathlon.org. The deadline to submit an application is Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012. Selected athletes will be extended a camp invitation by Friday, Sept. 14th, 2012.
