COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Nominations are now open for the coming year’s class for the USA Triathlon Hall of Fame. Those wishing to make a nomination must do so by May 31, 2013.

Nominations will only be accepted on the form provided and within the prescribed guidelines. These guidelines are included on the nomination form. Nominations that do not follow these requirements may not be considered. The nomination form is available here.

All nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee to ensure that nominees meet the criteria. All nominations meeting the criteria will be forwarded to a voting committee, which will consider the merits of each nominee and make the final designation. Designees will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a banquet in their honor to be held in 2014.

The USA Triathlon Hall of Fame was founded in 2008 and recently celebrated its fifth anniversary. Inducted on April 18, 2013, the Class of 2012 brings the total number of inductees to 22.
