Nominations Now Open for 2013 USA Triathlon Multisport Awards
Awards will honor the best of the multisport lifestyle from 2013
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — USA Triathlon is pleased to announce that nominations are open for the third annual USA Triathlon Multisport Awards, created to recognize individuals who best fueled the multisport lifestyle during the 2013 season.
All multisport supporters are encouraged to nominate friends, family and fellow competitors for these prestigious national honors. Nominations are being accepted through Feb. 28 in the following six award categories:
• Volunteer of the Year Award
• Jeff Jewell Spirit Award
• Military Sport Award
• Most Inspirational Comeback Award
• Spirit of Multisport Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award
Once the nomination period closes, USA Triathlon’s Age Group Awards Subcommittee will review all nominations and select the winners and honorable mentions for each Multisport Award.
Award winners will be announced in USA Triathlon’s Multisport Zone e-newsletter in March 2014.
