Transamerica Chicago Triathlon presented by Toyota
Greg Bennett (Boulder, Colo.) secured the win in Chicago on Sunday with the top bike split bringing him to the finish with a time of 1:49:02. After losing time to Bennett on the bike, Hunter Kemper’s (Colorado Springs, Colo.) fleet feet were not enough to chase the leader down. Kemper finished second in a time of 1:49:11. Ben Collins (Seattle, Wash.) posted a well-rounded day to take the final spot on the podium in third with a time of 1:50:15.

Alicia Kaye (Clermont, Fla.) took first place after coming out of the water with the few lead swimmers and pulling away on the bike. Kaye’s top bike split broke a big enough gap to secure the win in a time of 2:01:50. Radka Vodičková (CZE) posted the top run split of the field in pursuit of Kaye, but came up short in second place with a time of 2:04:30. Abby Geurink (Hudsonville, Mich.) rounded out the podium in third with a time of 2:05:34.
