USA Triathlon will host an Official’s Certification Clinic on Sunday, July 3, from 1 P.M. - 4 P.M., in conjunction with the Independence Day Triathlon and Duathlon at Coconut Creek. On Sunday, July 3, clinic attendees will receive classroom instruction which covers USA Triathlon competitive rules and the overall philosophy of the official’s program. On Monday morning (July 4), you will serve as a USA Triathlon official at the Independence Day Triathlon and Duathlon, under the supervision of the head official. Clinic attendees must be an annual member of USA Triathlon, be in good physical condition, weigh less than 215 pounds, and be capable of riding for hours at a time as a passenger on a motorcycle.
