What is the best aspect of triathlon becoming an NCAA Emerging Sport for women?
Longcourse Regional Championship-Rev3
Mens Pro pushed it really hard this year with Andrew averaging at a 28mph pace on the bike and Jacob Rhyner 4th place finishing with his signature by vomiting at the finish line. This years Rev3 really gave us something to talk about.
The weather definitely took a part in this year Long Course. Thankfully it didn’t rain but it was rather chilly in the morning and evening. The waves were at their best, which made this triathlon run smoothly without too many incidentals. Rev3 was one of my favorite triathlons that I have attended for USAT this 2013. The staff was helpful and maintained the area very clean. Great customer service was provided for athletes and non-athletes.
Having our Expo tent set we had many visitors and many athletes receive swag just by liking our Facebook Page. At the end of the Race day on Sunday we there was the awards ceremony where we awarded the top 3 athletes of each age group with a USA Triathlon Florida Region one of a kind ceramic mug. By the looks on their faces and the comments we heard they really loved them.
For those of you who attended and participated in the triathlon we hope that you enjoyed it as much as we did. We cant wait to see you all again at our next upcoming event in St. Anthony’s Triathlon for our USA Triathlon Florida Region-Regional Championship.
