2010 Midwest Youth Grant Recipient: BBBS Multisport Weekend
3 Sport Fitness was the recipient of one of the Midwest Region's first 2010 Youth Grants and will now be sanctioning the SEK (South East Kansas) Tailwinds Multisport Club youth multisport weekend.
The 2010 BBBS (Big Brothers Big Sisters) Multisport Weekend will be held in Pittsburg, Kansas on May 22nd-23rd, 2010. The BBBS Multisport Weekend will be based on the USAT youth division standards (7 to 15 years). This will be a top quality two-day multisport weekend designed by USAT credentialed coaches, USAC credentialed coaches, & certified fitness trainers. The BBBS Multisport Weekend will be specifically designed for aspiring young triathletes and to expose other youth to the multisport lifestyle. Under the direction of USAT coach Duston Morris and SEK race director Roger Lomshek, this event will help participants learn sport specific techniques and training tools while building a foundation for personal success as a multisport athlete.
