2011 Age Group Nationals

The USA Triathlon Age Group Nationals took place this past weekend in Burlington, Vermont, bringing in a total of 1647 triathletes from all over the country. Located on the beautiful Lake Champlain, Burlington provided the perfect race day atmosphere, proving why USAT chose it as this years host city.
With the relocation of the race from Tuscaloosa, Alabama to Burlington, the percentage of southeast competitors decreased significantly compared to the past two years. However, many of our regions best age groupers made the 1000+ mile trek up north in efforts to book their spots to the Short Course Triathlon World Championships to be held in New Zealand in 2012.
