Launched in the spring of 2009, RentaBikeNow.com is North America's only coast-to-coast bicycle rental network that helps traveling cyclists and triathletes easily find and reserve quality bikes in hundreds of cities with only a few clicks. The company's platform is simple on the surface, but it's driven by a sophisticated engine that performs that search, places and confirms the reservation, processes the deposit transaction and provides management tools for the bike shop.

How it works
More than 200 participating bike shops list their available rental bikes on the site. They set their hours and prices (which must match in-store pricing); then RentaBikeNow.com takes it from there – making thousands of rental bikes available nationwide.

Consumers easily search for and reserve bikes online by placing a small deposit on the specific bike(s) they want to rent. A printable confirmation even has a map and driving directions to help the customer navigate from their destination hotel to the bike shop.
