Jersey Girls StayStrong Multisport Club Supports the Shore
The Jersey Girls StayStrong Multisport Club has launched the “Jersey Girls StayStrong Multisport Club Supports the Shore” initiative this year to reach out to women residing in a Monmouth or Ocean County, NJ town significantly affected by Hurricane Sandy. The effort will allow the club to provide 4 women adversely affected by Hurricane Sandy with a 1-year membership in the Jersey Girls StayStrong Multisport Club, registration for the 2014 Spring Lake 5 Mile Run, and participation in all club training activities.
By joining the club for these events and training, these women will have the opportunity to improve their physical fitness and emotional well-being and become part of a community of more than 200 triathletes in the area. Encouragement of both the novice and experienced female triathlete will occur by participation in group training activities including organized swim instruction, the Jersey Girls StayStrong Multisport Club Winter Virtual Swim Race, biweekly runs and weekly rides, weather permitting.
Additional benefits of club membership include member-only access to the Jersey Girls StayStrong Multisport Club Facebook page, website and mobile application which include an activities and event calendar; additional training opportunities; links to helpful health and nutrition websites, articles and recipes; information on local and national athlete clubs and organizations; and the invaluable camaraderie of more than 200 like-minded female athletes encouraging participation and success.
